As a Security Guard - Overnight Patrol Driver in ANNAPOLIS, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and driving patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage unwanted activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will support tenants, visitors, and property teams through strong customer service and clear communication, while documenting observations and assisting with incident response. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing initial assistance and requesting additional support as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
