Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Fallon, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, verify badges and visitor credentials as needed, and provide clear communication and customer service to employees and the public. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report concerns through the established chain of command.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting and reporting unusual conditions.
  • Control access where assigned by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors to the appropriate area.
  • Complete timely documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
