As a Security Officer - Commercial Site Guard in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures and policies within a commercial condominium and retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity, and notify management and emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, retail storefront perimeters, and exterior grounds to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance concerns.
• Control access where assigned by monitoring entrances, verifying visitor and/or vendor authorization, issuing temporary credentials when applicable, and maintaining a professional presence at points of entry.
• Complete required documentation such as activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support emergency response activities per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
