As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist with access control, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and responders. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to client staff and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes, helping to identify unusual conditions, open doors, unauthorized persons, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and control entry for authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries, verifying identification and documenting visitor and vehicle activity per site requirements.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate timely updates to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
