As a Security Officer - Badge Control Desk in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will support access control at key entry points, verify credentials and badges, manage visitor and driver check-ins, and maintain clear logs and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Operate access control posts at entrances, gates, and dock areas by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or delivery documentation, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry and exit logs.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic for irregular activity, coordinate with site personnel on routing and staging, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts, assisting with site evacuations and/or shelter instructions as directed, and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, and parking areas, observing for security-related concerns such as propped doors, damaged fencing, and unsecured loading areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
