As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver Role in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail mall location, where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support shoppers and tenants with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and shoppers by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior common areas, exterior perimeters, parking areas, and service corridors to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with lost children procedures, medical calls, and disputes, and coordinating with property management and first responders as needed.
• Monitor entrances, loading areas, and restricted zones, observing for access issues, loitering, and policy violations, and using verbal de-escalation and customer service skills to support order in a retail location.
• Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and report hazards or security-related issues through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
