As a Security Guard - Logistics Site - Full Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, supporting access control and security-related operations. As a Security Officer, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and delivery traffic, and conduct routine patrols to help maintain order and help deter incidents. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and deliver customer service with integrity in a caring, teamwork-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entrances, gates, and loading dock areas by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials when applicable, and documenting entries and exits for people and vehicles.
• Monitor and respond to access control alarms, suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to post orders.
• Support security-related screening and property movement processes such as checking delivery paperwork, verifying trailer and seal information, and directing traffic flow to assigned areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, yard, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or other unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
