Revolutionary Actuary

We are seeking a Revolutionary Actuary for Tesla Insurance. This role will support the Reserving function and work closely with Claims, Accounting, Finance, Data Science, IT, and other key business partners. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ownership of their deliverables and is committed to the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

• Support end-to-end quarterly reserve reviews and present results to management
• Develop new tools and visualizations to break down complex data into clear insights
• Partner with Claims to identify emerging trends, claim handling changes, and other factors impacting reserves
• Own data integrity, reconciliations, and quality control processes
• Lead a range of actuarial projects to support Tesla Insurance's business growth

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience

• Minimum 2 years of private passenger auto experience

• Strong attention to detail and a deep sense of ownership over the quality of work
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in leveraging AI tools, including understanding the strengths and limitations of various LLM models
