We are looking for aGroupFinance Managertohelp drive thought leadership onsome of our largest and most strategic Azure deals. This rolewill serve as the subject matter expertise on product and regional marginal cost frameworks to help inform deal making strategy, partnering closely with key stakeholders fromEG finance (Revenue and Cost teams),deal teams (deal desk and business development),engineering (product engineering and supply chain / capacity teams),and sales.



Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

  • Partneringwith StrategicSales, Business Development, Engineering,and other teams toguide healthyAzurepartnerships

  • Drive thought leadership on marginal cost frameworks, including bridge to actual costing,and forward efficiencies

  • Developingframeworks to accelerate, simplify, and scale Azure's deal making process

  • Engaging with internal executives to clearly articulate the outcome of complex financial analyses
  • Continuous learning of Microsoft Cloud services, infrastructure, operations, go-to-market, and long-term cloud economics.

  • Embody ourcultureandvalues


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
    • OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 12+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Passionateabout the technology industry,andability to engage in technical discussions

  • Written and verbal communication skills, enabling simple communication of complex topics to an executive audience
  • Analytical skills and strategic thinking

  • Modeling capabilities and ability to work with financial systems

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves ata fastpace

  • Comfort working at multiple altitudes, from strategic/high-level projects to detailed analysis

  • Proven leadership skills, withdemonstratedresults in proactively driving and delivering high value/high-impact project results through both individual and v-team efforts

  • Business partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence others without direct authority and appropriately push back whenrequired

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

  • High levelof self-motivation; ability to quicklyidentifywhat needs to beaccomplishedand resourcefulness to get things done

Financial Analysis IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
