The New Construction Department works with builders and individuals purchasing newly constructed homes providing mortgages. The Loan Administrator is responsible for performing various administrative duties and providing quality service by helping manage the routine tasks required to process and close mortgage loan applications for newly constructed homes. The successful candidate will work alongside seasoned professionals to contribute to department goals and objectives and to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Education and Experience Requirements: * High School Diploma/GED required * Six (6) months banking or administrative experience. Certificate, Licenses and Registration Requirements: * N/A Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements: * Attention to detail. Good typing and proofreading skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a high paced environment. * Effective communication skills, both oral and written for professional correspondence. * Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. * Experience with banking or loan software preferred. * Familiarity with the mortgage servicing process is a plus. Essential Functions: * Send mortgage insurance payments to MI companies and reconcile payments report. * Assist the construction servicing team with management of loan documents. * Prepare conversion documents upon completion of a newly constructed home. * Perform other duties as assigned to support the residential lending department. * All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank's risk management program.
