Description Serve as the main point of contact for external mortgage clients and internal business partners. Support a Relationship Manager and manage assigned client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Client Interaction: Communicate daily with clients via phone and email; explain reports and resolve inquiries. Account Administration: Handle account setup, maintenance, and oversight per policies and regulations. Reporting: Generate and review reports in Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) to summarize file status for clients. File Review: Ensure mortgage and collateral files meet client criteria before storage (3 days to 30 years). Issue Resolution: Research and assist Relationship Manager with day-to-day client issues. Documentation: Create certifications, trust receipts, and handle sensitive correspondence. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with internal departments and external vendors as needed. Project Support: Assist with larger projects managed by others. Tools Used: Excel: Reporting, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables. Outlook: Daily communication and request management. Word Processing: Compose complex/confidential correspondence. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of experience in financial services or professional customer service experience; or a Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience 6+ months of experience working within Microsoft Office INCLUDING Excel (vlookups/pivot tables) Preferred: 6+ months of experience working in the mortgage industry or working with mortgage documents Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
