Shipping & Receiving Associate - Warehouse Operations Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Location: Albuquerque, NM Type: Full-time Overtime: Available as needed (not guaranteed) Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detailoriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our busy warehouse operation. This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring timely shipments, and supporting daytoday warehouse workflow. With one of our key team members transitioning out, we're looking for someone dependable who can step in and contribute immediately. Key Responsibilities * Receive inbound products into the warehouse, verify quantities, and check for visible damage. * Match packing slips to incoming products and ensure all documentation is accurate. * Enter receiving information into the company database by pulling up purchase orders (POs) and marking items as "received." * Identify incorrect or damaged shipments and move them to the returns area for processing. * Prepare products for outbound shipment, including labeling, staging, and palletizing. * Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow all safety procedures. * Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth, daily operational flow. * Use basic computer systems to track orders, update inventory, and complete required documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications * 1-2+ years of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse environment. * Ability and willingness to "do it all" - from inspection to documentation to shipping. * Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning new systems. * Strong internal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. * Dependable, reliable, and open to direction without pushback. * Positive, teamfocused attitude. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) * Experience working with chemicals or chemical-related products. * Familiarity with Navision (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) or similar databases. * Experience shipping with major carriers (FedEx, UPS, Old Dominion). * Previous use of a forklift or pallet jack (training available). Work Environment & Requirements * Fast-paced warehouse environment with a team of approximately six employees. * Steeltoed shoes required; long pants only - no shorts permitted. * Use of gloves and goggles as needed (no chemical pouring required; only pallet inspection). * Weekends off; holiday shifts are optional and staffed by small skeleton crews when needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Albuquerque, NM. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
