JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, in Hershey, PA, is seeking a candidate for a PT Human Research Technologist to explain study aspects and procedures, maintain lab equipment, apply electrodes and monitor overnight sleep studies. As a sleep technician, the position will be accountable for all overnight sleep research recordings (including consecutive night studies) for clinical trials in human subjects; monitor and track research study files to ensure quality control of data collected. Work Hours: 3rd shift, including some weekends. This position is up to 40 hours a week for a maximum assignment length of 16 weeks.
Work Hours: Part time, up to 40 hours per week, for 16 weeks. PRN hours, working 3rd shift, including weekends, 8:30 pm-8:30 am Qualifications: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) strongly preferred. Will consider candidates with prior training in sleep studies who have suitable work experience.
