POSITION SUMMARY : Sugarbush is looking for outgoing and reliable Golf Pro Shop Attendant who is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests and members in the golf shop. This role involves handling sales transactions, merchandise restocking, tee time management, and supporting the overall operations of the golf shop and course. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf, strong interpersonal skills, and a customer-first attitude. Full and Part time seasonal positions available either 7am to 2pm or 11am to 6pm, both require working weekends. The starting wage for this position is $20/hour. RESPONSIBILITIES : Greet and assist members and guests in a courteous and professional manner. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on merchandise, equipment, and services. Process transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system, including green fees, cart rentals, and merchandise sales. Schedule and manage tee times via phone, online system, or in person. Check in players efficiently and communicate course policies and conditions. Keep the golf shop clean, organized, and presentable at all times. Ensure promotional materials, scorecards, and signage are neat and stocked. Relay relevant information between golf shop, outside services, and management. Provide updates on pace of play, weather conditions, or delays to guests and staff. Support communication during tournaments and special events. QUALIFICATIONS : Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with our golfers. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions in uniform at all times while on the clock including name tag. Sugarbush Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
