Seasonal Gate Attendant

Per Mar Security Services is seeking Seasonal Gate Attendants to join our expanding team! Hours available are for 1st shift,

M-F, 10:00am-6:00pm, Saturdays, 10:00am - 6pm and Sundays, 10:00am - 2:00pm. You must have a clean driving record, a valid driver's license and previous security experience is preferred.

Seasonal positions are now available with a starting rate of pay of $18.50 - $19.00 an hour.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: -

• Greet customers entering and exiting the yard in a courteous and professional manner.
• Check receipts to verify purchased merchandise before customers leave the yard.
• Direct customer and vendor traffic safely through the gate area.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to prevent theft and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Communicate effectively with yard team members and management.
• Assist customers with basic questions and provide directions when needed.
• Monitor weather conditions and maintain a clean, safe gate area.
• Follow all company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills
• Basic math and receipt-checking skills preferred
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible seasonal hours (including weekends and holidays)
• Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
