About this opportunity
Join our Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions Business Operations and IT team as the Manager - Strategic Programs. In this role, you will lead a team of project and program managers through the planning and delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives that support key business and operational priorities.
You will translate strategic objectives into coordinated programs, establish delivery governance, and lead teams responsible for executing high-impact initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, structured program management, and the ability to align multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions.
This role will report to the Senior Director, BEWS Architecture & Integration Platforms
What you will do
- Manage and develop a team of program and project professionals, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management.
- Lead the planning and execution of strategic programs, ensuring initiatives are delivered on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
- Translate business priorities into structured programs, roadmaps, and coordinated project plans across multiple teams.
- Drive consistent execution of program governance, delivery frameworks, and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Identify and manage cross-program risks, dependencies, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating where appropriate.
- Coordinate collaboration across IT, product, operations, and business teams to enable successful program execution.
- Manage stakeholder engagement with senior leadership and functional partners, ensuring alignment and clear decision-making.
- Monitor program performance through defined KPIs, milestones, and financial metrics.
- Oversee vendor and partner engagement related to program delivery, ensuring contractual obligations and service expectations are met.
- Drive continuous improvement of program management practices, delivery methodologies, and operational processes.
The skills you bring
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, business, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Extensive experience leading complex programs or portfolios involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience managing program managers, project managers, or other professional delivery roles.
- Strong knowledge of program and project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
- Experience working in technology, telecommunications, networking, or related industries is preferred.
- PMP, Six-Sigma, or equivalent certification is advantageous.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan:Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
