Industrial Battery Apprentice

Currently, we are seeking an Industrial Battery Apprentice to support our Baltimore, MD location. We offer tremendous opportunity for growth, competitive compensation and benefits for individuals who want a career with a great company that maintains a family feel!

This is an entry-level position where you will be trained to install, replace, wire, & connect Industrial forklift batteries, learn how to maintain safety standards and interact with customers.

Main Duties:

* Install, replace, and service Industrial forklift batteries

* Perform basic electrical work, including wiring and troubleshooting of electrical hook ups on batteries (chargers, cells, etc.)

* Perform service calls at customer locations and in the shop to repair batteries, chargers and battery handling equipment

* Strictly adhere to all health and safety protocols

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards

Requirements:

* Electrical and Mechanical experience is a huge plus!

* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

* Positive attitude and professional demeanor

* Ability to learn quickly and follow directions

* Exceptional customer service skills

* Excellent work ethic

* Ability to lift, carry and maneuver up to 50 lbs

Compensation:

This is an hourly position with a range of $19-24/hr. Compensation is based on experience.
