Aon currently have an opportunity for a Senior Underwriting Assistant to support our NEMT Underwriting team in our Fort Washington, PA office. This is an assistantlevel role designed for individuals with underwriting or insurance support experience who are comfortable performing assigned tasks accurately and consistently within established procedures.

This role supports a growing underwriting team and is not a replacement position. The team is experienced and collaborative, with many longtenured members who support knowledge sharing, training, and consistent underwriting practices.

What the day will look like:

As a Senior Underwriting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our NEMT Underwriting team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing endorsement and loss run requests
  • Coordinating followups related to pastdue premiums and cancellations
  • Assisting with the triage and routing of incoming underwritingrelated emails
  • Preparing monthly DOT Insurance Evidence reports for state submissions
  • Providing underwriting support through administrative and processing tasks
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • Active Property & Casualty license preferred ( or must obtain within 6-months of hire)
  • Prior underwriting or insurance support experience preferred
  • Experience supporting commercial auto, transportation, or NEMT business is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured, deadlinedriven environment
  • Comfortable using companyapproved digital and AIenabled tools to support administrative and underwriting tasks, in accordance with established policies and guidelines

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $50,000 to $54,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
