To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The duties and responsibilities regularly performed for this position are:


1. Transfer hazardous and non-hazardous fluids to treatment tanks using pumps and hoses.


2. Add treatment chemicals to tanks.


3. Utilize plate frame filter press to remove solids.


4. Move solids from filter press to waste containers.


5. Discharge treated effluent from tanks upon final approval from Metallurgical Lab.


6. Clean waste treatment area.


7. Correctly label and store all waste (solid or liquid).


8. Sample and monitor waste streams generated from plant operations.


9. Adhere to all Company EHS policies while performing job duties.


10. Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards


11. Regular and reliable attendance


The marginal duties and responsibilities (performed occasionally or at irregular intervals) for this position are:


1. Investigate opportunities for improvement of processing equipment as required.


2. Complete all assigned training and compliance items as required.


3. Performing other tasks in the facility as needed.


JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS


To be eligible for this position, an individual must possess the following requirements to perform the essential job functions.


The specific EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE requirements of this position are:


1. High School Diploma or GED


2. Able to read and write in English


3. Previous experience with wastewater systems


The specific LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS required for this position are:


Forklift Certification (Chromalloy)


The specific SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE required for this position are:


1. Training required in handling chemical and hazardous materials.


2. Mechanical skills, ability to work with equipment such as pumps, filter presses, etc.


3. Basic understanding of wastewater processes and technologies.


The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
