About the team:

The Global Payments Sales Customer Experience (CX) Product team drives strategy and builds software/API solutions that help our sellers and partners acquire (sell, quote, contract and onboard) merchants for accepting payments and other ancillary services. Our top priority is deeply understanding our customers and building world-class experiences. Because our team unifies capabilities across the Global Payments product portfolio, this is a highly collaborative team that works closely stakeholders across the enterprise as well as internal teams such as other product leaders, UX, engineering, operations and marketing.

What you will be doing:

In this role you will lead an API-focused product team that supports Partner and Merchant onboarding. You will manage the product development lifecycle from intake through development as well as partnering with cross functional teams to to bring the product to market. To measure success, you will drive the identification of objectives and key results and routinely monitor these key metrics. To ensure our strategy stays aligned, you will coordinate closely with other Product Owners across our global suite of partner and onboarding products.

  • Work directly with development leadership and development teams to manage the backlog of new features, small enhancements, bug fixes and all other development activity related to your product.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for RESTful APIs, including endpoint definitions, request/response payloads, authentication, and error handling
  • Work with multiple teams across multiple time zones, including Asia.
  • Define integration points and map data flows between systems using APIs to ensure seamless communication across platforms.
  • Create detailed use cases, sequence diagrams, and data flow diagrams to support API development and testing.
  • Develop or modify complex information systems using industry and systems knowledge.
  • Consider business implications of technology changes and perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, hands-on product innovator with the following attributes:

  • 5+ years of Product Owner experience
  • Experience working in Agile environment, specifically with Scrum and SAFe
  • Knowledge of SQL, APIs and databases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
  • Proficiency in problem solving and time management skills managing multiple deadlines

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience of working for a Payment Service provider, Fintech company, bank or other financial institution
  • Experience of delivering International Expansion projects for a large organization
  • MBA degree

Worldpay is dedicated to offering individuals rewarding career opportunities and competitive compensation. For this full-time position, the good faith estimated annual salary range upon hire is $96,500.00-$145,625.00. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on the role's responsibilities, level, and geographic location. The actual starting salary will be determined by a candidate's experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Please note that changes in work location may impact the final offered salary. We encourage you to consult with your recruiter to confirm the budget for your location and to better understand the applicable pay scale.This position is eligible for bonus.
