Department: Gastroenterology & Hepatology Position Type: Full-Time, Clinical Faculty / Attending Location: Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital is seeking a highly skilled BC/BE gastroenterologist / Hepatologist with training in Transplant Hepatology to join our expanding liver disease and transplant program. This position combines hepatology care with transplant hepatology responsibilities, including evaluation and management of patients before and after liver transplantation. It also includes some general GI care. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional clinical care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to teaching, research, and program development. Physician will be able to perform both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, be involved in clinical trials, inpatient consults and rounds on the hospital, teaching of gastroenterology fellows, residents, and medical students, involvement in tumor board, and direct engagement with referring providers, among other responsibilities. The Liver Transplant Program continues to experience sustained growth, with annual volumes exceeding 40 liver transplants. The program is recognized for patient-focused care, innovative protocols, and outstanding outcomes, achieving patient and graft survival rates that are amongst the best in Michigan and nationally. Faculty members are accountable for carrying out leadership and administrative duties in a manner to enhance high-quality clinical services, promote excellence in education and training programs, establish and expand resources, and demonstrate stewardship in each of Beaumont's pillars of excellence - Quality & Patient Safety, Service, Financial Performance, People, Growth, and Academic Mission.
