DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Corrections Stock Clerk, you will maintain, receive, and distribute inventory within the shared warehouse and commissary area of SCI Somerset and SCI Laurel Highlands. You will process vendor shipments, confirm receipt, inspect materials, and match packing slips with purchase orders. You will also conduct audits to regularly replenish inventory and ensure inventory is properly stored, distributed, and logged. This role requires solid organizational skills and effective communication to oversee inmate work assignments, maintain attendance records, input payroll, and conduct orientation and training. In addition, you will operate various equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, and delivery vehicles move oversized and heavy materials. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $43,543.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
