This salary is Nixon Peabody's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Our summer associates provide legal research, writing, and other substantive support for our attorneys on projects that are both challenging and exciting. You will also receive substantive feedback and mentoring on assignments. We also offer various training programs throughout the duration of the program. Job Requirements:
We are seeking to hire a 2027 summer associate to join our Affordable Housing & Real Estate Practice Group in our Washington, D.C. office. Qualified candidates will be rising second-year law students who have a demonstrated interest and/or experience in affordable housing programs, particularly in the federal regulatory regime governing affordable housing and programs administered by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials (3.0 GPA or higher), superb judgment and communication skills, excellent legal writing skills, and a commitment to providing excellent client services. This is a hybrid position with four days in office expectations.
