Security Guard - Full Time Morning Shift

As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will deliver strong customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and contribute to a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining activity logs, and following Allied Universal post orders and client-facing service expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
