Job Description




As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related observations and reported issues.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with property guidelines, reporting suspicious activity, property concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
  • Assist with security-related checks of doors, gates, lighting, and shared spaces, and communicate notable conditions or maintenance-related concerns observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
