Construction Carpenter, Residential Energy Operations

The Tesla Team is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivatedConstruction Carpenter,who has demonstrated experience in all phases of Residential Construction. TheConstruction Carpenter will be part of Tesla Energy Residential Operations Team. The Construction Carpenter will work collaboratively with team members and individually to successfully complete various forms of residential construction maintenance service projects. The ideal candidate will continuously model Tesla standards for excellence and adhere to policy compliance, meeting quality standards, safety protocols, and achieving efficiency goals.

• Complete various scopes of residential construction projects including, but not limited to, dry-wall, texture match, dry-rot repair, painting, roofing, structural framing, and electrical work, as needed
• Calculate material takeoffs, perform all aspects of repair, and adhere to project completion timelines
• Interface directly with Internal Scheduling Teams, Tesla Management and Tesla Energy Customer base
• Partner with internal stakeholders to maintain templates for operational flow efficiency and standards for future projects
• Maintain high quality of safety and construction standards
• Attend weekly team meetings and mandatory training sessions on new products, service methodology, and safety
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Ability to safely handle tools and materials commonly found in the construction and solar industries, such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc.
• Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field as needed to complete objectives with as little impact to the customer
• Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
• Ability to work outside in extreme environments and at heights. Repetitive duties include lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and other computer software systems/applications
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
• Must have compliant government issued identification for domestic air travel and/or to access certain federal facilities. Valid driver's license required
