Job Description

Collections Representative
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (9/80 schedule option available). Some overtime and occasional weekends may be required.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage collection efforts on overdue accounts, including investigation and follow-up
  • Handle a high volume of calls and emails with customers and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate customer records and document all correspondence
  • Review accounts, determine reasons for non-payment, and negotiate payment plans
  • Monitor and release/hold orders based on credit status
  • Partner with the credit team on account updates and financial reviews
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal departments


Qualifications



  • Must live within 60 miles of our Houston office
  • 1-3 years of B2B collections or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude
