Description Job Title: Quality Inspector Location: Mesa, AZ Employment Type: Temp to perm Industry: Manufacturing Compensation: $20-26/hr, depending on experience level Schedule: Day and night shifts available, 12 hour shifts. Training schedule is 1-2 weeks on a M-F day shift, before moving to the 12 hour production schedule. Position Summary: The Quality Inspector supports Client's manufacturing quality operations by assisting with inspection activities, production documentation review, and compliance with quality standards across the solar production floor. This role helps ensure materials and finished products meet company specifications and traceability requirements. What You'll Do: Assist with visual inspections of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished solar components Verify production travelers and manufacturing documentation for completeness and accuracy Support labeling verification and product traceability checks Record inspection results in quality tracking systems or spreadsheets Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or documentation gaps to supervisors Support containment activities for nonconforming materials Assist with staging and segregation of inspected materials Maintain accurate inspection logs and quality records Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality work instructions Maintain clean and organized inspection areas Support general production-floor quality compliance activities Follow all safety and PPE requirements Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High school diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of experience in a Quality role What Sets You Apart: Experience with solar, semiconductor, electronics, or assembly manufacturing Familiarity with production documentation or traceability systems Experience using basic inspection tools (calipers, gauges, checklists) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation tracking Ability to follow written procedures and inspection instructions Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Additional information: Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25-40 lbs occasionally Ability to perform repetitive inspection activities Work Environment: Solar manufacturing production-floor environment Combination of inspection stations and line-side support PPE required depending on assigned production area Shift flexibility and overtime may be required during production ramp-up periods Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
