  • The Assembly Integration and Test Focus Factory of the client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level manufacturing engineer to join our team.
  • This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about assembly integration and testing of low-volume, high-precision products.
  • The selected candidate will work both independently and collaboratively to review, plan, integrate, and test unique opto-mechanical and thermoelectric products in a low-volume setting.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform tasks in a manufacturing and prototyping environment.
  • Review and provide feedback on electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical drawings and designs.
  • Translate drawing requirements into detailed work instructions for the assembly, integration, and testing of complex end-products.
  • Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure program schedule milestones are met.
  • Own product schedule development - coordinate across disciplines to ensure agreement amongst stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot issues individually and collaboratively to find quick and safe solutions that minimize schedule delays.
  • Balance multiple projects and priorities and communicate clearly to operations leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing and prototyping environments
  • 2+ years of experience in Troubleshooting technical issues in assembly, integration, and testing
  • 2+ years of experience in Maintaining accurate records and documentation
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience in Aerospace or Defense industry
  • Familiarity with machinery, machine building, and precision engineering
  • Experience with Optical Metrology
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Proactive schedule ownership and stakeholder alignment
  • Fast and safe problem-solving under pressure
  • Strong coordination and collaboration across disciplines
  • Multi-tasking given the work environment
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities
  • Clear communication with operations leadership
  • Adherence to policies, procedures, and labor practices
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
  • Requires the ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance
