Colonie Landfillis looking for asafetyconsciousHeavy Equipment Operatorto join the team inCohoes, NY.

Schedule:M-F 6:30am to 4:00pm / every other Saturday 6:30am to 1:00pm.

Pay Rate:$25.00+ per hour / dependent on experience.

• Operating heavy equipment such as: bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor grader, scraper, and compactors.
• Performingroutine inspectionand maintenance on equipment.
• Promotingcontinuous improvementof workplacesafetyand environmental practices.
• Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determinesafe and environmentally sound solutions toserviceissues.

What we need from you:

• 2+ years' experience running heavy equipment
• Knowledge ofheavy equipment operationand maintenance.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforcesafety procedures.
