This position manages and evaluates O2C business process. Conducts a wide range of business operations while maintaining and promoting accuracy and compliance in the management of Accounts Receivable. Achieves results by overseeing, leading, and maintaining aligned process' of Financial Services transactional activities, procedures, and resources to ensure alignment with the larger Finance Services strategy. Responsible for meeting KPIs and SLAs as well as the performance and management of employees with process specific responsibilities within EFS.

This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at the Higbee building in Cleveland, OH.

Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

CORE RESPONSIBILITY 1: ENTERPRISE FINANCIAL SERVICES MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure profitable sales and market share growth through effective and efficient Financial Services Organizational Structures and end-to-end business process design for the Enterprise.

  • Ensure best practices are in place for efficient, effective, and accurate credit approvals and management of Accounts Receivable to achieve the Enterprise's Sales, Working Capital and RONAE objectives.

  • Provide strategic business process design and oversight to manage and control material delinquent accounts to mitigate risk and minimize bad debt losses for the Enterprise.

  • Provide an efficient and effective Enterprise framework for customer credit lines Customer Accounts across the Enterprise.
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures across Enterprise.
  • Provide strategic implementation of best practices in the operations of Enterprise Financial Services Teams to achieve the Enterprise's Accounts Receivable objectives.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY 2: ENTERPRISE FINANCIAL SERVICES STRATEGY

  • Improve the Enterprise's cash flow and reduce working capital impact through effective collaboration with Financial Services Teams, Sherwin-Williams' management teams, and field sales personnel.

  • Manage a framework to monitor performance of Third-Party Collection Agencies and Law Firms to improve recovery efforts of the Enterprise.

  • Develop, adapt, and refine Accounts Receivable strategies as business environments change or evolve.

  • Maintain a knowledge base of trends, management techniques and metrics to improve service levels and business process performance.

  • Coordinate system solutions to enhance external customer's experience including but not limited to self-service portals and electronic B2B communication with Enterprise AR/EFS group.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY 3: ENTERPRISE ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE TALENT DEVELOPMENT AND CAREER PATHING

  • Recruiting, hiring, training, retaining, and mentoring of diverse and inclusive Accounts Receivable Professionals.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY 4: CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Create a culture of continuous improvement within the Enterprise Financial Services teams and assist in the identification and strategic solutioning of process bottlenecks.

  • Manage the strategic implementation of the "Global Footprint" for Oracle Cloud, AR, Advanced Collections, Credit Management and ARDS at an Enterprise level.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY 5: ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CONTROLS AND COMPLIANCE

  • Ensure and certify (as required) Accounts Receivable controls are performed and operating effectively.

  • Ensure and certify Enterprise Accounts Receivable balances are stated accurately, including but not limited to, any Reserve Requirements.

  • Ensure the Enterprise Financial Services organization operates within all applicable laws and regulations in which the Enterprise has operations.

  • Establish, update, communicate and provide visibility to the standard Enterprise Policies and Procedures for the effective management of Accounts Receivable.

  • Identify and/or address any control deficiencies.

  • Timely respond and address Accounts Receivable inquiries from both internal and external audit personnel as required.

  • In coordination with the Enterprise Accounting Team, address any accounting standard changes relating to Accounts Receivable.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, MIS or Related Field
  • Minimum 5+ years Accounts Receivable Experience or Technology Related Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of Managerial Experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Experience in the O2C process area

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, MIS or Related Field
  • 5+ years customer centric Project Management Experience
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English and Spanish
  • Experience Implementing information technology solutions for complex business problems
  • Experience Implementing change driven programs
