Job Description
Research Coordinator - School of Nurse Anesthesia

Our Anesthesia Education Department is seeking a collaborative and motivated Research Coordinator to support scholarly activity, research mentorship, and academic excellence within the program. This faculty position works closely with leadership, faculty, and students to promote research literacy, guide scholarly projects, and ensure compliance with institutional and accreditation standards.

This role combines research coordination, faculty service, and teaching responsibilities in support of program outcomes and student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support scholarly activity within the program
  • Mentor students and faculty through research and scholarly project processes
  • Monitor project timelines and compliance requirements
  • Support accreditation and institutional research standards
  • Participate in faculty service and program development
Teaching Requirement

Includes a teaching load of 3 academic credit hours per academic year, which may include didactic instruction, scholarly project coursework, or other assigned teaching responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree required
  • Current certification as a CRNA
  • Current Missouri RN and Advanced Practice licensure
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • Strong communication and mentorship skills
  • Expertise in anesthesia practice with the ability to instruct and supervise students
