KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director in our Strategy practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key advisor and Technology Strategy leader, drive enterprise-wide Technology and M&A IT Due Diligence projects for Private Equity clients
  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing strategic technology roadmaps, manage key engagement interviews/research and facilitate workshops; As the primary Technology interface with clients partners with business/technology leaders to help maximize the value of existing technology and deliver exceptional value with new technologies
  • Direct and participate in business development focusing on IT and Business Technology Strategy including curating a strong professional network, maintaining a strong market presence, identifying opportunities, proposing KPMG services, negotiating terms and closing engagements
  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing client services and presentation of final client deliverables
  • Oversee the quality of client engagements and the development of staff
  • Lead and participate in practice building including, but not limited to recruitment and training, thought leadership, management and mentorship of staff and/or solution development
Qualifications:
  • Minimum twelve years of recent experience in external consulting focused on M&A Technology and IT Due Diligence at a major Strategy, boutique Strategy, or Big 4 Strategy consulting firm or similar corporate experience with a focus on Private Equity including M&A Due Diligence and Integration/Separation experience
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field; Masters degree in Information Technology is preferred
  • Experience in the following strategy consulting areas (from an Information Technology perspective): M&A transactions, business due diligence, operational and performance improvement, strategic growth, or other relevant strategy experience and the ability to articulate how technology and business model decisions impact the technology operating model design/execution as it relates to operations, internal and external facing technology and organizational design
  • Demonstrated business development skills including fostering a strong professional network, scoping opportunities, leading pursuits and negotiating terms
  • Excellent consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, client presence, facilitation and presentation skills and extensive experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating and managing staff, clients and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed including international travel
