Position Details:

  • Plant Location: Texarkana, TX

  • Work Week & Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:00pm - 12:00am (midnight). This position requires flexibility to work various shifts, as needed.

  • Compensation Package Offered: $23.17 / hour

What You Will Do:

  • Perform all aspects of manufacturing a product from a process order or bill of material.
  • Operate a PC to perform various production functions such as inventory checks and quality checks.
  • Prepare drums, pails, totes, and other containers for transport of products.
  • Operate pumps, valves, and other processing equipment for safe and efficient chemical production.
  • Operate all transporting equipment used to receive raw materials and the transport of products.
  • Effectively load and unload bulk materials from tankers.
  • Make necessary hose line-ups for loading material from tankers into vessels and vice versa.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally compliant work and storage area.
  • Label and placard packaged material in accordance with company policy and government regulations.
  • Operate scales and maintain drumming platform.
  • Prepare drums and totes for loading and shipping.
  • Participate in physical inventory, safety meetings, and improvement committees.
  • Perform necessary Quality Assurance tests.
  • Stage and charge raw materials into batches.
  • Fulfill and maintain the requirements of the RC-14001 and ISO 9001 standards

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previousexperience with industrial (large batch) mixing and mixing multiple tanks at once

  • Previousexperiencein chemical mixing

  • No immigration sponsorship available for this role

Physical Requirements of Position:

  • This position requires regularly lifting and carrying 50lbs.

  • A full-face respirator will need to be worn for this role for periods up to two hours.

  • Experience workingsafely and efficiently in a chemical or manufacturing environment

  • Ability to understand systems,pumps,readmeters,basicQualityControl data and to trackmixing and quality information (mix logs, batch adjustments, etc.)

  • Ability to performbasicQualityControl tests (performpH testing,takesamples)

  • Excellentattention to detail

  • Ability to simultaneously mix several tanks and accurately complete related documents

  • Basic knowledge of chemistry and chemical handling

  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Experience workingeffectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic math skills

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $23.17 - $34.76. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
