Accountable for an operation within a Division to achieve results identified by the Corporations WIN Strategy and division/business unit Strategy Deployment goals. Leads a team of empowered employees to continuously meet and exceed customer expectations.

Provides leadership for operation employees. Coordinates cross-functional activities that may include any or all of the following: Sales & Marketing, Design Engineering, Applications Engineering, Inventory Control and Production. Interacts with current and prospective customers, Sales Representatives & Distributors, all levels of the Division.

  • Sustain and enhance the sites successful safety record by building it into our culture and how we operate.
    Operationalizing Zero Defect mentality throughout the operations and manufacturing engineering teams.
  • To profitably grow the business and achieve Business Unit, Division and Corporate goals monthly, quarterly and annually. Works with current and potential customers to promote and
    leverage company technologies, systems, products and services.


  • Leads strategy deployment for the operation by engaging with cross functional peer group, concentrating on quality, delivery, and lean initiatives to ensure operational efficiency and economy. Leads the operations and manufacturing engineer teams, in partnership with all functions, to drive positive business results, accountability, and overall engagement of the site.
  • Establishes and maintains premier customer service.
  • Accountable for driving Lean Initiatives throughout the operation to ensure they are fully embraced and implemented.
  • Drive, in partnership with supply chain, a production schedule, proper release and flow of work orders, and healthy WIP and inventory levels. Execute shipping and receiving logistics to bolster and grow our delivery performance to both internal and external customers.
  • Develops a budget plan and manages operation within budget constraints.
  • Maintains familiarity with competitive environment within geographical area of responsibility.
  • Represents the operation at the Business Unit and Division levels.
  • Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development. Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management.

  • Bachelors Degree in a technical or business discipline is required; an MBA is desirable.
  • Minimum seven years operations experience with budgetary and P&L responsibility (e.g. Business Unit Manager, Plant Manager, Manufacturing Manager).
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving / resolution skills and a team focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively and persuasively present information to management, customers, and employees
