General Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Dayton, OH. This role includes receiving shipments, organizing inventory, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately Organize and stock inventory in designated locations Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization Prepare shipping labels and outbound documentation Assist with inventory counts and audits Follow all safety procedures and company policies Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 0-2 Specific Qualifications Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous warehouse experience preferred Valid Driver's License required Forklift experience or certification is a plus Ability to pass background check and drug screening Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting Comfortable working on feet for extended periods Ability to perform repetitive warehouse tasks safely Work Environment Fast-paced warehouse setting Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and dust PPE required in designated work areas License Required Yes Job Locations US-OH-Dayton Company Overview IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of end markets, including electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions for the commercial, industrial, residential and renewable energy markets.
