About Cornell HR Information Systems

We partner with campus stakeholders to provide system expertise, customer engagement, project management, and operational support that enable timely and effective delivery of HR services.

The Opportunity

The Project Administrative Assistant supports the Assistant Director HR Project Management, by providing administrative and project support to project teams, assisting with coordination of activities, scheduling, timelines, documentation, and communication.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, trainings, webinars, and events; supporting project tracking and reporting activities; maintaining project documentation and web content; and assisting with communication among internal and external stakeholders. The role also provides routine administrative and clerical support to ensure projects and unit operations run efficiently and in alignment with established procedures and timelines that are accurately tracked and shared.

The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills while operating within established guidelines, procedures, and priorities.

The CEMI Project Administrative Assistant is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow beyond traditional administrative work while still being deeply involved in operations, coordination, and team support.
