What to Expect

The Benefits Coordinator drives our mission by supporting the Benefits team and working with employees across the business to ensure Tesla is a great place to work for everyone. Tesla is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, innovative and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic benefits team. Our team achieves results by being innovative, driven, collaborative, and trustworthy. This is a hands-on tactical role that provides support in the areas of benefits administration, benefits compliance, employee engagement, and ad hoc projects as necessary.


What You'll Do
  • Be the front line for our employees and answer questions and concerns about benefits programs and policies
  • Partner with Benefits Analysts and other cross-functional teams to deliver excellent service and resolve benefits issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Identify opportunities and enhancements to systems to improve employee experience and develop and implement lasting solutions
  • Provide administrative support to Benefits team on events, projects and programs
  • Delegate tasks to appropriate team members
  • Maintains knowledge of HIPAA and understands proper handling of PHI
  • Help support billing reconciliation and payroll auditing

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevant work experience
  • 1+ years of experience in benefits, HR or related fields
  • Proven organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks, all within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism and can interface with all levels of the organization as a primary point of contact for team
  • Works independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills desired and HRIS or ticketing experience a plus

    Expected Compensation
    $23.20 - $46.20/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
