Job Summary:

We are seeking a Process Engineer to support capacity expansion and process optimization within semiconductor manufacturing. This role focuses on developing and improving ASML lithography processes, qualifying new equipment, and driving performance through data analysis and advanced process control. The position collaborates crossfunctionally to enable new product introduction and continuous improvement in a cleanroom environment.

What you can do for PSL

Work with lithography engineering to expand factory capacity by:

  • Developing new processes.

  • Qualifying new equipment.

  • Performing experiments, analyzing results, and making recommendations.

  • Work directly with OEM (ASML) to integrate industry standard practices at PSL.

  • Evaluate software and hardware upgrades to improve throughput, reduce cost of ownership, or improve overall equipment capability.

  • Create standards for data analysis methods used in process development.

  • Create, maintain, and modify ASML lithography recipes required to pattern wafers.

  • Develop standards and procedures for recipe creation and modification.

  • Develop procedures for recipe backup and control.

  • Disposition product and equipment.

  • Monitor and optimize APC systems to improve process control and yield.

  • Work directly with device engineering and technology development teams to manufacture new products or improve existing processes.

What PSL needs from you

  • Capable of working in a cleanroom environment [fully gowned].

  • Working knowledge of SPC, Gage R&R, and Six-Sigma methodology.

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must as this role will require in depth cooperation with multiple functions and manufacturing sections.

  • Skills in technical writing, computers, problem solving and organization.

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related field.

  • 5+ years of semiconductor experience.

  • Self-disciplined and highly motivated with experience managing multiple high priority projects.

  • Highly independent and capable of driving projects with little direct oversight.

  • Exceptionally detail oriented and well organized.

  • Experience creating automated scripts with any programming language.

What We Offer

Salary: The estimated base salary range for the position is $110,000-$154,000. The pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, job-related experience, skills and level of the position.

Benefits & Other Eligible Compensation: Includes health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, annual bonus, and tuition reimbursement.
