Product Owner - 100% Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner - Remote position with a Renowned Healthcare Organization located in Rochester, MN. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. 100% Remote

Compensation: $80.00 - 85.00 per hour, W2

This role focuses on developing quality digital products, including mobile apps and web products, by understanding both business and technical engineering needs. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring the delivery of solutions that meet desired objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and consider both business and technical engineering/IT needs to ensure quality digital products and related operational workflows
• Perform cost, benefit, and risk analysis associated with proposed products/services and recommend alternatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders and users to synthesize, articulate, and document business and system requirements
• Perform data analysis, define and document business requirements, and translate them to technical/engineering specifications, acceptance criteria, and user experience requirements
• Assist product and operations leaders to coordinate deployment of deliverables
• Provide input for development of other product documents, project charters, and plans
• Apply systems engineering methodologies and discipline throughout the product and project lifecycle
• Research, analyze, and validate complete and accurate business and systems requirements
• Establish scope boundaries for products and technical requirements
• Plan and monitor work scope estimates and schedules
• Assess and define problems through root cause analysis and proactively bring solutions
• Read, assess, and interpret vended solution architecture and translate into scope of work and technical specifications
• Understand and help define product implementation change management requirements
• Lead teams in a Product Owner capacity

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (business, Computer Science, engineering, technology, health care) AND 3 years of relevant technical experience OR 7 years of relevant technical experience
• Minimum of 1-3 years in a Product Owner (or similar) role
• Experience developing mobile app and/or web products
• Experience working with a Scrum team in an Agile environment
• Working knowledge of product development architecture
• Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
• Ability to prioritize effectively and mitigate roadblocks
• Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting needs of stakeholders
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to obtain Certification in Scrum Product Owner within 1 year

Desired skills:

• Experience in Healthcare
• Healthcare and EPIC API expertise

Pay range: $659.11 - $693.81 per hour
