What You Will Do:
The Distribution Center Production Control Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, and overseeing the site planning to ensure products are planned, picked, shipped and delivered on time, to the correct quality standards, and within budget. The leader is also responsible for ensuring that stock levels are adequate and balanced between outside storage and the DC. This role bridges planning with warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring smooth material flow and efficient order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and Schedule Production: Develop and maintain picking schedules that align with sales forecasts, customer demand, delivery timelines, and invoicing.
  • Coordinate Workflow: Manage picking activities across multiple products, stages, and shifts, ensuring smooth material flow from production to distribution
  • Monitor Performance: Monitor picking output, OTS, OTD, picking capacity, deselection %, and inventory balancing between off site warehouse and the DC.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, delays, or quality issues to minimize disruptions

What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
* 4 year degree in Supply Chain Management or related field required
* Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement Methodologies preferred such as 8 waste, root cause analysis i.e. 5why, fishbone, Value Stream Mapping, 7 or 8 Step Problem Solving, Standard Work, and Leader Standard Work
* Understanding of WMS and LMS systems
* Understanding of picking operations which include case, loose pick
* Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
* Previous Supervisory/Management experience required.
* Strong leadership, analytical, project management, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and
* Computer proficiency including SAP, Word, Excel
* WMS implementation preferred
