Hiring Range:

$127,587.20 - $160,763.20

Schedule: Full-Time (3 x 12-hour shifts/week; rotating days/nights)

Join one of the region's most dynamic Hospital Medicine teams in a high-acuity academic medical center offering broad subspecialty exposure and flexible scheduling. This Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work (3) 12 hour shifts per week and will be cross trained to rotate through day and night roles with varying responsibilities including but not limited to admitting, rounding, floor cross coverage, rapid response team member.

Works closely with other Hospital Medicine APPs and Hospital Medicine Attendings during 24/7/365 coverage. Services we cover overnight include BMT, Neurosurgery, Urology as well as post procedural coverage for GI, Body IR, Vascular IR, ENT, Ophthalmology.

Key Highlights

  • Collaborative, team-based model with Hospital Medicine Attendings and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
  • 24/7/365 support with strong interdisciplinary collaboration, working (3) 12 hours shifts per week, with approximately 60% of shifts overnight.
  • Epic EMR and integrated clinical systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document complete history and physical exams
  • Develop diagnoses and treatment plans based on clinical evaluation
  • Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies
  • Participate in daily inpatient rounds and document progress notes
  • Collaborate with consulting services and interdisciplinary teams
  • Perform routine bedside procedures per delineation of privileges

Qualifications:

  • A Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Eligible or current Massachusetts license, with national certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, as applicable)
  • Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration are required
