Please note that this position is onsite and therefore requires the ability to commute to Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX.

Daily direct patient and family interactions related to decreasing costs, length of stay and increasing patient satisfaction. Ensures the delivery of optimal, comprehensive care to the trauma patient through their stay by establishing contact, establishing monitors and evaluating patient care delivery. Assists trauma service physicians and staff caring for trauma patient through early identification of complications/treatments and care provision by close daily monitoring and interactions.

Required Qualifications:



  • Education: Must meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination and become licensed in the State of Texas
  • Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Trauma care, quality management, and critical care experience


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current or previous CCRN or CEN
  • Critical Care or Intensive Care RN experience

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
