The Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and service-oriented Director of Finance to lead the department's financial operations and research administration functions. This key leadership role oversees budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, compliance, purchasing, and research financial management in support of the department's academic, clinical, and research mission. The Director of Finance serves as a trusted advisor to department leadership and faculty, providing high-level financial analysis, operational guidance, and long-range strategic planning. The role is responsible for overseeing complex financial reporting and ensuring the effective management of departmental resources, while driving operational efficiency and supporting informed decision-making. This position also provides leadership and oversight for research administration activities, including pre-award and post-award management and related financial processes. The Director partners closely with faculty, funding agencies, and campus stakeholders to ensure compliance, accuracy, and exceptional service across all areas of financial and research administration. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and supervisory experience, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and comprehensive knowledge of academic and research finance within a complex organization. Success in this role requires the ability to manage competing priorities, lead collaborative teams, and build strong relationships across a diverse academic environment. Annual range: $95,400-$208,300 Qualifications
