Position Overview:

The Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling products efficiently and accurately while meeting established safety, quality, and productivity standards.
This position follows detailed work instructions and standardized processes to ensure products are built right the first time. Assembly Operators work collaboratively as part of a production team, demonstrating accountability, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement while upholding Laerdal's values of respect, responsibility, and quality in everything they do.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembles products that meet on-time, quality, productivity, and safety standards.
  • Perform basic in-process checks to equipment to ensure reliability and to detect malfunctions, adjust as necessary and alert supervisor.
  • Manually assemble component parts to produce end products such as whole manikins, partial manikins, kits to ensure that final assembly products meet specifications.
  • Assemble electronic components of final assembly products to include soldering and cable and speaker assemblies.
  • Test & Inspect parts and finish assembly product; correct any nonconforming products.
  • Accurately packs products for transfer to shipping per proper procedures
  • Evaluate inventory levels and ensure it is accurate
  • Clean and maintain work area (5S's).
  • Safe operation of all machinery, tools, and
    equipment.

Pay Rate:

  • $15.50/hr

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 7:00am-3:30pm, overtime as required

Requirements:

  • High
    school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience
    working with electronics parts assembly, vinyl part assembly, molded parts
    assembly and various molding materials preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
