Job Summary Scottsdale Community College (SCC) is seeking a full-time Student Services Analyst. This position is responsible for recruiting and guiding students through the enrollment process, which includes first-semester advising. Using a one-stop model, this position will provide key support in all enrollment service areas to support prospective student enrollment at Scottsdale Community College. The Student Services Analyst will work with the Student Information System (PeopleSoft), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and other technology platforms for monitoring, updating, and reporting student data. This position is responsible for building relationships with students, local high school personnel, community-based organizations, and SCC faculty and staff to promote SCC and increase enrollment. This position is responsible for developing, tracking, and analyzing enrollment campaigns using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform and other college technology to create enrollment experiences for prospective students. The analyst will collaborate with Advising, Admissions & Records, and Early College Programs to support and navigate the transition of high school students to Scottsdale Community College. The ideal candidate demonstrates a commitment to high school student recruitment, enrollment, and success, as well as service excellence, innovation, integrity, and the ability to work independently to meet enrollment goals. This position will also be responsible for conducting college information sessions (both on and off campus) and supporting campus tours, as needed. To best serve the students, department, and college, this position requires a physical presence on campus, with the possibility of partial remote work depending on business needs. Essential Functions 35% - Recruit prospective students and provide admission and enrollment assistance as well as financial aid guidance and 1st semester advising. Collaborates with local high school teachers and counselors to provide presentations to students and application/enrollment workshops to help students through the recruitment and admissions process at high schools and/or at on campus enrollment events. 25% - Collects and interprets data to make informed program decisions, and monitors students' progress through the enrollment process using campus Customer Relationship Management System (CRM). Develops and implements campaigns designed to increase enrollment in alignment with SCCs strategic plan. Creates, tracks, and analyzes enrollment experiences through campus CRM. 15% - Assist prospective students to the next stage in the enrollment process. Assists students in admissions and records tasks that include identification, transcript/placement, under-18 forms, FERPA acknowledgement, and other A&R functions related to enrollment. 15% - Develops and maintains relationships and coordination with SCC faculty and staff, Academic Departments and Student Affairs managers to develop a thorough understanding of the college culture, programs and services; utilizes this understanding to help applicants fully understand and choose program options; establishes and maintains relationships with high school and school district personnel, community based organizations, business/industry partners, and other key external stakeholders. 10% - Attends departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities; performs other duties as assigned. SUPERVISION EXERCISED May serve as a lead worker, assigning and monitoring the work of others, or may supervise non-exempt level staff. SUPERVISION RECEIVED Receives general supervision and is expected to prioritize work to meet deadlines and to keep the supervisor informed of any unusual or irregular issues that would impact achievement of a deadline, a District policy or procedure, or in consideration of risk management. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs. OR An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation. Desired Qualifications A. Master's Degree B. Two (2) years of experience providing academic or career advising, working with high school students, or working in student services in a college or university setting. C. Two (2) years of experience working in an environment with student services procedures, including admissions and records/registration, or online Student Information System (e.g., PeopleSoft, Banner, etc.). D. Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or similar programs such as MS Dynamics, Salesforce, and/or HubSpot. E. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred. F. Experience planning, coordinating, developing, and participating in presentations, workshops, tours, college fairs, events, or orientations. G. One year of full-time, relevant MCCCD experience within the previous two years. Special Working Conditions
