Security Officer Patrol Associate

As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor, vendor, and/or delivery access in accordance with site policies and post orders.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing trailer yards, dock activity, and high-traffic areas, and communicating security-related issues in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
