Overview: We are seeking a Junior Conflicts Counsel to join our risk management team. This role is ideal for a junior attorney interested in developing expertise in conflicts of interest, professional responsibility, and law firm operations. You will work closely with senior conflicts and ethics counsel to analyze conflicts issues, advise attorneys, and support the firm's client intake and compliance processes. Key Responsibilities Include: * Analyze conflict reports and resolve conflicts of interest for new business intake * Identify potential and actual conflicts/ethics issues and escalate complex issues as needed * Prepare clear and concise communications to senior conflicts counsel identifying all potential issues found in the conflict report in order to provide recommendations to facilitate conflict resolution * Draft and review conflict waivers, engagement letter provisions, and related disclosures * Partner with conflicts analysts to ensure accurate data entry and timely matter opening * Assist with ethical screens and ongoing conflicts monitoring * Conduct legal research on professional responsibility issues * Support development of policies, procedures, and internal training materials * Coordinate with the conflicts team to update and maintain the conflicts database and ensure accurate conflict reporting. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms and conditions. The salary range for this position varies by geographical market. In Minneapolis, the estimated starting annual pay range is $115,000-$139,000. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
