Job Overview

WHO WE ARE
Relativity is a leading legal data intelligence company building technology that helps users organize data, discover the truth, and act on it with confidence. Our AI-powered, cloud platform, RelativityOne, transforms massive volumes of complex information into actionable insights for litigation, investigations, regulatory inquiries, data breach responses, and other high-stakes legal work where accuracy and trust are crucial.

The world's largest law firms, corporations, and government agencies rely on Relativity's legal AI software to securely surface and manage the most relevant and impactful information in their matters. Beyond our commercial impact, we're deeply committed to expanding access to technology for academic institutions through Relativity Academic and supporting pro bono legal work through Justice for Change.

WHAT WE DO
At Relativity, engineers don't just write code. They help build distributed systems that process massive volumes of complex data, enabling users to uncover meaningful insights and act with confidence in high-stakes environments.

Enrichment Team
The Enrichment team powers the ingestion and transformation of terabytes of complex and abstract data into Relativity's Review platform. The team focuses on solving large-scale data challenges, including high-throughput ingestion, data extraction, and transformation across diverse document sets. Engineers on this team build highly distributed systems composed of multiple data stores, processing layers, and web services, while also modernizing the user experience and improving performance at scale. If you're excited about working with big data, solving complex scalability challenges, and building systems on a secure SaaS platform, this is a team where you can have real impact.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to building Relativity's cloud-based platform by designing and operating highly scalable, distributed systems. You will work on dynamic web applications and serverless technologies, helping to process and transform large volumes of data efficiently and reliably.
This role reports to the Manager of Software Engineering and offers the opportunity to work across multiple layers of the system, gaining experience in distributed architecture, cloud technologies, and large-scale data processing.
