Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Integration Developer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role leads the requirements analysis, design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions involving Spark/Scala and Informatica. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in Treasury Payments and Deposits domains, leading multiple projects concurrently and working with teams in different time zones.

Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements analysis, high level/low level designs, development and implementation of data integration solutions
• Lead multiple projects concurrently each with competing deadlines
• Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource, providing technical knowledge and capabilities
• Coordinate with deployment and support teams to ensure projects are successfully deployed into testing and Production environments
• Design, develop and deploy Real-time, Near-real-time and batch data integration solutions
• Work with people in different time zones and teams

Requirements:

• Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite
• 5-7 or more years of data delivery/integration experience
• Very good understanding of Hadoop components, architecture & tool sets
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Scala
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Spark
• Experience with Informatica products
• Must have architected, developed & implemented solutions using real time streaming technologies (Spark Streaming/Kafka)
• Good knowledge of Spark configurations and Spark/Scala performance tuning
• Strong working knowledge on Hive, Impala, Oozie
• Experience working with Exadata & Oracle SQL Tuning
• Hands-on experience in UNIX Shell Scripting
• Working experience in scheduling jobs with Autosys
• Development experience using the Agile process
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, software development and work management skills

Desired skills:

• API development experience
• Experience in distributed computing
• Financial Services / Banking experience
• Knowledge of CICD Build & Deployment tools

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
